Got a link or code? Open it right here in your browser โ no app, no sign-up. Or get the app to send photos, videos and files to any device.
Open the link in any browser โ iPhone, Android, PC or Mac. Nothing to install.
The app sends over the internet or nearby โ files land on any device, anywhere.
Files stream peer-to-peer, end-to-end encrypted. Our server never sees them.
Nothing is uploaded to storage โ it's a direct pipe from sender to receiver.
Any modern browser works โ Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, and phone browsers. The recipient just opens the link (or scans the QR); no app needed.
For very large files (over ~2 GB), use Chrome or Edge on a computer โ those stream the file straight to disk, so size isn't limited by memory. Safari and Firefox hold the file in memory while it downloads, so they're best for smaller transfers.
No. Opening the link in your browser is all it takes. The app is only needed on the sending side.
Three ways: the Apple share sheet (AirDrop, Messages, Mailโฆ), Nearby for devices on the same Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, or a Send link that opens in any browser on any device โ Android, Windows, Mac or iPhone.
Small transfers are free. Sending large files by link โ up to 10 GB โ uses AirDropIt Pro in the app.
Yes. The sender must keep AirDropIt in the foreground with the screen on until the transfer finishes โ locking the phone or switching apps cancels it. For large files, it helps to plug in and set Auto-Lock to a longer time so the screen doesn't sleep mid-transfer. On the receiving side, just keep this browser tab open.
The link stays live only while the sender keeps the send screen open. Once they close it or the transfer finishes, the link stops working.
No. Files transfer directly between the two devices, peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted. Our server only helps the two sides find each other โ it never sees your files.
